Honouring the heritage of Arita pottery, the TY “Standard” series employs a distinctive clay made from crushed stone, yielding exceptionally durable, heat- and stain-resistant ceramics—even unglazed. A subtle additive imparts a refined light grey, matte finish. Designed by Teruhiro Yanagihara, the collection embraces a borderless, functional aesthetic. Each piece is thoughtfully conceived for versatility: square plates serve as trays, small dishes as lids, and bowls suit anything from Japanese rice to Western cereals.
