OBJECTIVE UK EDITION — Objective Lifestyle Shop joins forces once again with Japanese wooden balancing art brand tumi-isi to launch their second collaboration. Following the 2020 release of the limited-edition Objective Edition in Hong Kong, OBJECTIVE has now officially arrived in London. In partnership with the Japanese team, they have embarked on a brand-new collaboration, infusing their original design philosophy with British cultural elements to create innovative works that are both artistic and playful.

About colour

The colour palette of the British edition draws inspiration from the distinctive depth and refinement of British aesthetics—dark wood tones intertwined with a rich, confident traditional green. The wood tones evoke the elegant warmth accumulated over time, reminiscent of interiors crafted from aged timber, quietly absorbing light and casting soft shadows. This warmth is not soft or fleeting; it is shaped by enduring craftsmanship—solid, grounded, and made to last.

• Green: The green introduces a subtle yet profound tension, brimming with vitality like a living tree. Set against deep wood, it achieves perfect balance—calm, composed, and quietly expressive.
• Dark wood: Blending with the traditional green, dark wood forms a colour language that is simultaneously formal and approachable. It embodies historical tradition, the authenticity of solid timber, and understated elegance, transformed into tangible, hand-carved wooden blocks designed for focused, contemplative play and serene display.
• Black: As for the black, we have imbued it with a uniquely British composure. It is applied sparingly—not sharp or harsh, but reminiscent of the textures of old London brickwork and the interplay of light and shadow on overcast days: restrained, measured, yet quietly powerful. It adds a deeper sense of British character and structural integrity to the work.

Also, every block is individually processed and cut differently, made by craftsmen who spare no effort.
