Lapuan Kankurit | SAARI large bath towel (white-blue) - XL
Textile designer Aoi Yoshizawa was inspired by the view from her studio window on Harakkasaari island in Helsinki and created the stunning SAARI (Finnish for “island”) pattern for us. The design features a beautiful flowing gradient, achieved through different weave structures. The towel is a wonderful example of our skilled weavers’ expertise in Jacquard weaving.
The SAARI towels are made of highly absorbent washed linen with a double weave structure. Washed linen doesn’t necessarily need any ironing, small wrinkles are allowed, even desired for! Linen is a natural material that feels pleasant on the skin, it’s very absorbent and dries very fast. For these reasons linen is an excellent material for towels. 100% washed linen has been wash treated during our production process, this is how we get the outstanding absorption capacity.
This generously sized towel wraps around you with ease, and there’s plenty of room to lounge on it, making it perfect as a beach towel as well. Its large size doesn’t mean it takes up too much space. This towel fits effortlessly into a cupboard or travel bag, making it the ideal companion for both home and vacation.

Care instruction:
Delicate laundry wash at 60°C in plenty of water. Wash separately. 40°C is also an adequate wash temperature. Do not use softner and bleach. Normal spin cycle. Reshape whilst damp. Linen fibres may come off the product during the wash. Check the lint filter before and after washing. The colour of natural linen becomes lighter with washing. We do not recommend tumble dryer.
